01 Acceptance of the terms

By creating an account on Manifiesto, downloading the app or using this site, you fully and unreservedly accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

You must be over 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you act on behalf of another person (for example, a dependent family member), you represent that you have the authority to do so.

02 What Manifiesto is

Manifiesto is a mobile application to organize your personal finances and those of your shared space. It lets you log expenses and income, see how much you can spend each day, keep track of your fixed expenses and installments, follow a savings goal and close each cycle with a recap. You can use it on your own or share a space with other people, for example your partner or your family.

Manifiesto is not:

• A financial institution, bank or digital wallet.
• A provider of financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.
• A payment intermediary: it does not process payments or move money.
• An investment platform.

Manifiesto is an organization tool: it does not connect to your bank accounts, cards, digital wallets or any other financial platform, and it does not access your banking information or anyone else's. Everything you see in the app is entered by you, in one of these ways:

• By hand, in the app.
• From a screenshot you choose to import, for example the transaction list from your bank or wallet app. The text in the screenshot is read on your own device, and you review each entry before it goes in.
• With the Apple Pay shortcut, if you choose to use it. It is optional: you create it yourself in Apple's Shortcuts app and, when you pay contactless with Apple Pay, that shortcut passes the merchant and the amount of the payment to Manifiesto for you to confirm. Manifiesto does not access your Wallet or your cards.

That information is used only to help you organize and control your personal finances and those of your space.

03 Your account

To use Manifiesto you create an account with your email and a password, or with your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password, and the app PIN if you use one, secret and not sharing them.
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Any activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that compromise the security of the service.

04 Acceptable use

By using Manifiesto you agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal, fraudulent activities or activities that infringe third-party rights.
• Attempt to access accounts, data or systems that do not belong to you.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app beyond what is permitted by law.
• Overload our systems with automated traffic, unauthorized scraping or abnormal requests.
• Upload content (notes, names) that is offensive, illegal or that violates third-party rights.
• Share your account with other people. To use a space together, each person signs in with their own account.

05 Shared spaces

In Manifiesto your data lives in a space, which can be just yours or shared with other people. Each person belongs to one space at a time. Whatever any member logs is visible to everyone in the space.

Whoever creates the space is its "owner". Only the owner can invite other people, with a single-use code that expires after 7 days, and only the owner can remove them from the space.

How many people fit in a space depends on its plan (see Plans and full access): Plan Jardín is for one person and Plan Huerta allows up to four. While the owner's full access lasts, up to two people fit. Without a plan, the space does not add new members. If the plan ends or changes, nobody loses their place: only new invitations are stopped.

If you invite another person to your space, you represent that you have obtained their consent to share financial information with them. Manifiesto is not responsible for conflicts between the people in a space.

If you leave a space you do not own, or the owner removes you, you lose access to that space. What you logged (for example, your expenses) stays in the space and the other people can still see it. If the space's plan covered your access, it no longer does.

If you are the owner and you delete the space, or leave it, the space closes for everyone: its expenses, fixed expenses, goals and settings are deleted, and the other people see this when they open the app and can continue with their own account. This cannot be undone: coordinate with the people in your space before doing it. Manifiesto is not responsible for the resulting loss of access.

06 Your content

All the information you enter in Manifiesto (expenses, income, fixed expenses, goals, categories, notes and amounts) is yours. We only store and process it so that the app works, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and revocable license to store, process, synchronize and display your content to the other people in your space, for the sole purpose of operating the service. This license terminates when you delete your account, except for what you logged in a shared space that is still active: that stays in the space, without your name, for the other people (see Termination).

We do not sell your content, we do not use it for advertising or to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not assign or share it with third parties so that they profit from it. Your financial information is used solely to make Manifiesto work for you and your space, as detailed in the Privacy Policy. The app does not show third-party advertising.

07 Plans and full access

Since version 2.1.0 of the app, Manifiesto works without a plan: a plan adds features and more room in your space. In version 2.0.1 and earlier, when full access ends the app asks for a plan to keep using it.

Without a plan you can:

• Log your expenses for today and yesterday, and your income.
• See what's left for today, your garden, your streak and the daily recap.
• Use the Apple Pay shortcut and get reminders and alerts.
• See the current cycle and the last closed edition.
• Use fixed expenses, screenshot imports and the assistant, with limits. The app shows you each limit when you reach it.

A plan adds:

• Fixed expenses with no limit.
• Logging expenses, and marking calm days, on any past date.
• Screenshot imports with no daily limit.
• The full assistant.
• All your past editions.
• Each cycle's report as a PDF.
• Creating your own categories and renaming the existing ones.
• With Plan Huerta, inviting more people to your space, up to four in total.

The limits without a plan may change in new versions of the app. A limit never deletes what you already logged: if you have more fixed expenses than the limit, you keep them and just can't add more; and your past editions stay saved even if you can't open them without a plan.

Full access to start. When you create your account you get full access for a while, with no purchase and no card. There is one per account, it starts the day you create it, and the app shows you how many days you have left. It is not an Apple introductory offer: there is no purchase, nothing is charged when it ends and no subscription starts. The app keeps working with everything that doesn't need a plan, and what you logged stays saved.

08 Subscriptions and payments

Plans are auto-renewable subscriptions purchased inside the app, through Apple's App Store. Since version 2.1.0 there are two plans, each monthly or yearly:

• Plan Jardín, for a one-person space: US$2.99 a month or US$24.99 a year.
• Plan Huerta, for a shared space of up to four people: US$4.99 a month or US$41.99 a year.

Those are the prices on the United States App Store. In your country, the App Store shows you the local price before you confirm. Version 2.0.1 and earlier offer the Monthly Plan and the Annual Plan; since 2.1.0 they are no longer sold, and anyone who has one keeps it, with the same features and room as Plan Huerta.

For all plans:

• Purchase: it is made inside the app and processed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Manifiesto does not process payments or see your card details.
• One plan per space: the subscription is linked to the space you purchased it from and covers everyone in it. Only the person who purchased it can change or cancel it.
• Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically, at the same price, at the end of each period, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends. The renewal charge happens within those 24 hours.
• Cancellation: you can cancel it anytime from your Apple Account settings, or in the app from Settings → Your plan → Plan for your space → Manage or cancel in App Store. You keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Changing plans: upgrading takes effect immediately; downgrading takes effect at your next renewal.
• Refunds: Apple decides them, according to its policies, and you request them at reportaproblem.apple.com. Manifiesto cannot issue refunds.
• Price changes: if we change a plan's price, Apple notifies you before it applies and, when its rules require it, asks you to accept it. A price change never applies to a period you already paid for.

Purchases are also governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

09 Nature of the service · not financial advice

The calculations you see (what's left for today, projections, recaps and signals) are estimates based on the data you enter and may contain errors or fail to account for your full situation. The decisions you make based on the information in Manifiesto are your sole responsibility; we are not liable for economic losses, debts, fines or harm resulting from those decisions.

Some features depend on data we don't fully control. Reading a screenshot can get an amount or a date wrong: that is why you review each entry before confirming it. The Apple Pay shortcut depends on Apple and may not log some payments, such as those made with the physical card, inside other apps or on the web. And dollar equivalents use a reference exchange rate, which may not match the one applied to you.

Manifiesto is offered "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties beyond those required by law.

10 Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep Manifiesto operational, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur due to: maintenance, updates, technical failures, problems with infrastructure providers, or force majeure causes.

Manifiesto also relies on third-party services: Apple's App Store for purchases, sign-in with Apple or Google, Apple's Shortcuts app if you use the Apple Pay shortcut, and infrastructure providers to store and sync your data and send you notifications. A failure in those services can affect the app, and their use is also governed by their own terms. Who processes your data is detailed in the Privacy Policy.

We recommend not using Manifiesto as the sole source of your financial records. Make your own copies if the data is critical for you.

11 Termination

You may stop using Manifiesto at any time. To delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete account within the app.

Deletion is not immediate: your account is scheduled to be deleted in 30 days, and during that window you can cancel it by signing in again. After 30 days, your personal data is permanently deleted. If you are in a shared space that is still active, the expenses you logged stay in it under the name "Anonymous". Details are in the Privacy Policy.

If you own a space with other people, before deleting your account you must delete the space (it closes for everyone) or wait for the other people to leave.

Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. If you have one, cancel it from your Apple Account settings so it doesn't renew.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your use puts other users or the service at risk, or if a competent authority requires us to do so. In those cases we will notify you by email when reasonable.

12 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Manifiesto will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages (including lost profits, loss of data, loss of opportunities) arising from the use or inability to use the service.

Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you have paid for your Manifiesto subscriptions in the 12 months prior to the event that gave rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

Indemnity. You agree to hold Manifiesto, its owners and collaborators harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, from the content you upload, from the breach of these terms, or from the violation of third-party rights or of the law on your part.

Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be limited (for example, damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence, or non-waivable consumer rights).

13 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do:

• We post the new version to this page and update the "last updated" date.
• If the changes are substantial, we notify you within the app or by email before they take effect.
• If you continue using the service after it takes effect, you are deemed to have accepted the new terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

14 Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Argentina. Any dispute related to Manifiesto shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, unless applicable law establishes a protective jurisdiction for consumers (in which case that jurisdiction shall apply).

15 Specific clauses for users of Apple's App Store

If you downloaded Manifiesto from Apple's App Store, your license to use the app is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms complement it: they govern the service, your account, your space and your plans, and if anything in them contradicts it, the EULA prevails. In addition, the following clauses apply and prevail over any conflicting provision of these terms:

• Relationship with Apple: these terms are entered into between you and Manifiesto, not between you and Apple. Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Scope of the license: Manifiesto grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Support and maintenance: Manifiesto is responsible for providing support and maintenance for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever in this regard.
• Warranty: Manifiesto is responsible for any product warranty. Apple does not warrant the app. If the app does not comply with the applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation.
• Product claims: Manifiesto, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or third parties relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
• Intellectual property rights: in the event of third-party claims alleging that the app infringes intellectual property rights, Manifiesto is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and indemnifying the claim. Apple has no responsibility in this respect.
• Regulatory compliance: you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Third-party terms: when using the app you must comply with any applicable third-party terms, for example your wireless data service agreement.
• Third-party beneficiaries: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and by accepting them they will have the right to enforce these terms against you.
